比推消息，Anduril 创始人 Palmer Luckey 在 The Axios Show 上表示，过去几十年的中东冒险已耗尽美国发动地面战争的政治共识，开战三周仍无明确下一步。美国缺乏对伊朗发动地面战的政治意愿。
Luckey 称，特朗普现在在做的事情——不管是在委内瑞拉还是伊朗——是一种全新的战争方式，我不认为美国现在有准备好去打一场——比如说——二战那种规模的战争，即便是为了正当理由，更别说是为了大家意见不一的理由了。我觉得我们现在已经没有能力再打一场诺曼底登陆了，而这实际上是个问题。这意味着，即使在一场非常重要的战斗中，我们也可能不会现身。但这也正是我一直以来所说的原因之一：美国大概需要从『世界警察』转变为『世界军火店』。
