long and strong: long指投得远；strong指力气大。这是棍子先生让玩客用力投以保证骰子撞在桌子后壁上。

前面提到过，这些用语多来自美国，带有很强的美国色彩。随着掷骰子游戏在亚洲的推广，也许以后会出现一些亚洲本土词汇。但可以肯定地说，只要这个游戏存在，11就会读作yo，2就会称作snake eyes（蛇眼）。从未玩过这个游戏的人站在桌边不难找到云里雾里的感觉。
